
PGE Projekt Warszawa and Jastrzębski Węgiel made strong starts in the PlusLiga quarterfinals, both winning their openers 3–0.
In Warsaw, Artur Szalpuk led his team past Skra Bełchatów with 22 points and a dominant all-around performance. The sets were tight, but Projekt’s better serving and blocking sealed the win. Game two is set for April 5 in Bełchatów.
In second clash of the day, Jastrzębski Węgiel cruised past Norwid Częstochowa. Łukasz Kaczmarek and Tomasz Fornal led the scoring, while Benjamin Toniutti earned MVP honors. The series continues on April 1.\
The quarterfinals follow a best-of-three format, with the higher-ranked teams hosting the opening matches. Additional quarterfinal pairings include Warta vs Resovia and LUK vs ZAKSA, starting March 29.
