PGE Budowlani Łódź left no doubt about who rules the city, sweeping ŁKS Commercecon Łódź 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-16) in the eighth round of the Tauron Liga.
ŁKS kept pace only in the opening set, but from then on, Budowlani’s power took over. The team was unstoppable in attack (56% efficiency to ŁKS’s 34%) and outperformed their rivals in every part of the game, from serves (6-1 in aces) to blocks (9-3).
Rodica Buterez, Paulina Damaske, and Maja Storck all shined with 17 points each, forming a deadly trio that ŁKS simply couldn’t contain. For the losing side, Mariana Brambilla led with 9 points.
