In a thrilling night at Maracanãzinho, Sesc RJ Flamengo pulled off an incredible 3–2 comeback against Gerdau Minas, handing the defending leaders their first loss of the Brazilian Superliga. The sets ended 20–25, 28–26, 15–25, 25–18, and 15–8.

Simone Lee returned from injury in spectacular fashion, scoring 25 points and earning the MVP award. Her powerful attacks and steady serves helped Flamengo rally from behind after trailing 2–1. “We just kept believing,” Lee said after the match. “The crowd gave us the energy we needed.”
For Minas, Maria Khaletskaya led the way with 20 points, and Júlia Kudiess impressed with six blocks. But after a strong start, the team couldn’t contain Flamengo’s late surge. “We’ll bounce back,” said Minas captain Thaisa, who finished with nine points.
With the win, Flamengo remains the only undefeated team in the league and now trails Minas by just one point, with a game in hand.
