Energa Trefl Gdańsk pulled off a thrilling comeback to defeat Ślepsk Malow Suwałki 3–2 in Round 16 of the PlusLiga.

The visitors from Suwałki looked firmly in control early, taking the first two sets with confident play and sharp attacking. Gdańsk, however, refused to fold. Backed by their home crowd, they edged a tight third set before dominating the fourth to force a decisive tie-break. The final set was a tense, point-for-point battle, but Trefl held their nerve to seal a dramatic 22–20 victory and complete the comeback.
Piotr Orczyk led the turnaround with an outstanding all-around performance and was named MVP. Aliaksei Nasevich led Trefl’s scoring effort with 22 points, closely followed by Piotr Orczyk on 21 and Tobias Brand with 18. For Suwałki, Asparuh Asparuhov was the match’s top scorer with 25 points. He received solid support from Bartosz Filipiak (19) and Henrique Honorato (16).
