ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle pulled off a dramatic 3–2 victory over Energa Trefl Gdańsk on home court in Round 20 of the PlusLiga. After more than two hours of hard-fought volleyball, the hosts held their nerve in the deciding set to seal the win.

The match see-sawed from start to finish. ZAKSA struck first, Trefl answered back, and neither side could fully take control until the fifth set, where the hosts edged ahead in the closing rallies.
Gdańsk’s opposite hitter Aliaksei Nasevich delivered a standout performance, pouring in a match-high 33 points and keeping his team alive throughout the contest. ZAKSA countered with a balanced attack, led by Kamil Rychlicki, who finished with 20 points, while Igor Grobelny added 17 points to push the hosts over the line.
