The lineup for the final of the Polish Cup in women’s volleyball has been confirmed. BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała and PGE Budowlani Łódź booked their places with semifinal victories on Saturday in Elbląg.
BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała defeated first-division side Netland MKS Kalisz 3–0. Despite a committed performance from Kalisz, the Tauron Liga team controlled the match from start to finish.
Top scorers: Aleksandra Gryka led BKS with 12 points, followed by Marta Orzyłowska (11), Martyna Borowczak (10), and Kertu Laak (10). For MKS Kalisz, Anna Lewandowska and Saana Lindgren scored 9 points each. Orzyłowska was named MVP of the match.
In the first semifinal, PGE Budowlani Łódź upset defending champions DevelopRes Rzeszów with a 3–1 win. Budowlani were powered by Maja Storck, who dominated offensively.
Top scorers: Storck finished with 23 points for Budowlani, while Paulina Damaske added 20 and Rodica Buterez chipped in 10. For DevelopRes, Taylor Bannister scored 11 points, with Svitlana Dorsman and Laura Heyrman contributing 10 apiece. Storck earned MVP honors.
