Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie moved to the top of the PlusLiga table after a hard-fought 3–1 win over Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in Round 20.
The home side made the difference in the most dramatic moment of the night, a marathon third set that Zawiercie won 34–32 after both teams had multiple set points. That breakthrough gave the “Jurassic Knights” the momentum they needed to close the match in four sets.
The opening set was tight and decided only in the closing points, while Resovia answered back in the second with strong serving and control in attack. Set three turned into a battle of nerves and long rallies, before Zawiercie finally took control. A confident start to the fourth set allowed the hosts to protect their lead and seal the win.
