POL M: Indykpol AZS Olsztyn Defeat Skra Bełchatów 3–1 in Rescheduled PlusLiga Clash

Indykpol AZS Olsztyn claimed a 3–1 win over PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów in a postponed PlusLiga Round 15 match, continuing their strong run this season. The team coached by Daniel Pliński took the contest in four sets, 25–23, 19–25, 25–21, 25–22.

The victory was Olsztyn’s 15th of the campaign and keeps them in fourth place in the league table. Skra Bełchatów remain eighth after the defeat.

The opening set was closely contested, with Olsztyn edging it 25–23. Skra responded well in the second set, leveling the match after a convincing 25–19 win. However, the home side regained momentum in the third set and held their nerve in the fourth to close out the match.

Moritz Karlitzek led the scoring for Olsztyn with 20 points, while Arthur Szwarc added 18. Paweł Halaba also played important role with 17 points and earned the MVP award. The outside hitter converted 13 of his 19 attacks for a 68 percent success rate, and added four serve aces.

For Skra Bełchatów, Alan Souza was the top scorer with 19 points. Zouheir El Graoui contributed 13, and Bartłomiej Lemański finished with 10 points.
