DevelopRes Rzeszów made an impressive start to the Tauron Liga finals, defeating PGE Budowlani Łódź in straight sets to move ahead in the championship series.
The home side dictated the pace throughout the match, cruising through the first and third sets while keeping control during a more competitive second frame.
Taylor Bannister starred for DevelopRes with 23 points and earned MVP honors after adding six aces and two blocks. Svitlana Dorsman and Julita Piasecka each contributed 11 points. Maja Storck led Budowlani with 16 points.
