Fenerbahce Medicana defeated VakifBank 3-2 in the fourth match of the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi playoff finals, tying the best-of-five championship series at 2-2.
After losing the opening set, Fenerbahce responded strongly to take the next two before VakifBank forced a deciding fifth set. The home side then held firm to seal victory in front of their fans at Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall.
Melissa Vargas led Fenerbahçe with 28 points, followed by Arina Fedorovtseva with 16, while captain Eda Erdem chipped in 10.
For VakıfBank, Marina Markova was the match’s top scorer with 29 points, and Tijana Bošković finished with 20.
The fifth and final match of the series will be played on April 19 at VakifBank Sports Palace, where the winner will be crowned 2025/26 Sultanlar Ligi champions.
