Defending champions Zenit Kazan secured their place in the Russian Men’s Volleyball Superliga final after defeating Lokomotiv Novosibirsk 3-1 in the decisive fifth match of their semifinal series in Kazan.
The hosts won 25:22, 22:25, 25:23, 25:23 to take the series 3-2 and remain on course to retain the title.
Zenit-Kazan will now face Dynamo Moscow in the best-of-five final, while Lokomotiv will meet Zenit St. Petersburg in the bronze-medal series.
