Poland coach Piotr Makowski: We are happy for the win, but not too much because we did not play good today. Our service and serve receive did not work correctly. We need to improve this for the next games.

Poland captain Izabela Belcik: I am very happy. Today, Malwina Smarzek had a perfect day and we won another match. We made many mistakes but when we improve our service we can show our true volleyball level.

Cuba coach Juan Carlos Gala: We have a young team and they have to learn to handle moments like the ones we had today in the game that were not favourable to us. Our athletes are learning a lot in this competition.

Cuba captain Sulian Matienzo: We are young and we gave it all in the first and second sets, but we missed closing the sets. This is something we will continue to improve game by game.
