WCH M: Poland most successful among undefeated teams

Poland bested the other teams, in terms of minimum set-losses in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, making a strong statement of being a top contender for the title this edition.

Poland have managed to maintain its near perfect win-record after a their set-defeat against Cameroon. Poland easily managed Argentina in straight sets to top their Pool A standings. 

Meanwhile, Brazil lost two sets against Korea on Saturday and another set on Sunday against World Championship final round rivals Cuba. Nonetheless, Brazil stayed on top of Pool B.

Likewise, Russia initially lost to Mexico followed by the excellent comeback on the fifth set against Bulgaria in Pool C. France are still on top, closely followed by Iran in Pool D.
