Asseco Resovia Rzeszów defeated Cerrad Czarni Radom with 3-1 (28-26, 19-25, 25-21, 28-26) in the 8th round of PlusLiga.

Polish vice champion started the game with Lukáš Ticháček as a setter and Dawid Konarski as opposite and quickly built a lead (12-8). Thanks to the serve from Dirk Westphal, locals leveled much of the loss account (14-13) and fought hard with rivals, so this period ended on a point difference (26-28).

In the second set, hosts set the tone of the game – 7-3, 19-15 – and confidently won it by 25-19.

The next two sets, as exciting as the previous ones, were resolved in the favor of Resovia who won maximum points in this match.

Resovia had Nikolay Penchev with 16 and Piotr Nowakowski with 14 points. In Cerrad Czarni, Bartłomiej Bołądź was unstoppable with 21 points.
