Falasca
It was a game between two teams from the very top of the table, but also duel of two coaches which knows each other really, really well. Of course, we talk about Miguel Falasca and Andrea Anastasi.
It was a special event, as in the past Anastasi was a coach to Falasca in the Spanish National Team and two of them managed to make history for this country winning the European Championship 2007.
“It will always be a special time for me when I am playing against Miguel, who was with me on the crazy adventure at the European Championship back in 2007. Those guys, together with Miguel, have marked my heart and I will forever love them as father loves his children. Miguel was one of the best players I have ever worked with, but firstly he is a great person and I wish him all the best in life and in sport” said Anastasi in an interview for volleyball.it.
