“We remember how difficult the match in Austria was, and do not want to have similar problems on home soil. However Hypo Tirol is a good team and we are ready for a very intense match,” states PGE Skra coach Miguel Angel Falasca.
“We want to get closer to qualification to the Playoff round from the top spot of Pool F. We know that if we win, we will be already through to the Playoffs,” the Argentinian-born coach of the Polish side adds.
Hypo Tirol is currently ranked third in Pool F, however still has chances to qualify to the next stage of the competition.
“We are not going to give up, we want to show our best performance. However, I realise that PGE Skra is the better team and it is going to be a huge challenge for us to compete with the Polish champions at Energia hall. We have got nothing to lose in Belchatow and a lot to play for,” Hypo Tirol coach Stefan Chrtiansky says.
PGE Skra played recently without their captain and best scorer Mariusz Wlazly, who may not join the starting line-up also on Wednesday.
