Our colleagues from Poland called this a hit transfer in the Polish First League. Dejan Brdjović refused to take over Gazprom Yugra, a team from the Russian Superleague, and chose to sit on the bench of Espadon Szczecin, a team which finished at the 8th place in the Polish First League (second rank of league system).
Espadon Szczecin confirmed this news on the club’s official website.
“We are pleased to announce that Dejan Brdjović is our new head coach. With him on our side, we believe that we will manage to qualify for the PlusLiga in near future.”
Brdjović was the head coach of Rabita Baku in the last season, while before that he worked in China in Shandong, in Italy in Novara and in Serbia as the head coach of Crvena zvezda and Radnički Kragujevac.
