The Netherlands beat Czech Republic, while the hosts Poland defeated Puerto Rico in their semifinal games.
Giovanni Guidetti, the Italian head coach on the Dutch bench emphasized that there are no favorites at the F4 as well as in the finals.
“The final tournament doesn’t have favorites. The fact that we won six games in the first phase is of no importance. The favorites don’t win matches by themselves. Such term is great for journalists to heat up the atmosphere before the game. Poland is a completely different team than the one with against which we played two weeks ago…” Guidetti said.
Poland and the Netherlands measured the strength of each other in double friendly match, a few days ago and the result was one-all.
