Skra
In the 21st round of Plusliga, PGE Skra Bełchatów defeated Zaksa as visitors 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 15:12) in fierce and exciting duel and caused third defeat in the league, second consecutive, to leaders.
This was not a must-win game for Zaksa because the gap in points between them and the second placed team in the standings, before today’s game, was 12 points. Defeat from Skra was even going in favor of Zaksa since it pushed Trefl (from which they lost twice this season) further down in the standings.
On the other hand, beating Zaksa was a great opportunity for Skra to once again jump into second place which secures spot in playoff finals and thus, they took advantage of Trefl’s defeat from Cuprum Lubin.
Top scorers: Zaksa – Dawid Konarski 22 points; Skra – Facundo Conte 19 points.
