WAGNER MEMORIAL: Bulgaria unstoppable, first win for Poland!

After beating Poland, the Bulgarian volleyball national team have managed to down Serbia and to score the second win at the Hubert Wagner Memorial tournament.

Tsvetan Sokolov was the player who pushed Konstantinov’s side to the win over Serbia 3-2 (25-20, 16-25; 25-14; 22-25, 16-14). The Bulgarian star scored 23 points, while on the other side Tomislav Dokic ended match with 21 points.

It was very uncertain game until the very end but Bulgarian side had more composure and won the match. With this victory, they are very close to win the tournament.

The host of the tournament has scored the first win as they beat Belgium in four sets 20-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.

Tomorrow, Bulgaria will play against Belgium at 17:30 while Poland and Serbia will enter the court at 20:30!
