Head coach Andrzej Kowal decided to put the following players into the starting lineup: Jochen Schöps, Marcin Mozdzonek, Dawid Dryja, Lukas Tichacek, Marko Ivović, Dominik Depowski + Damian Wojtaszek (libero).
Thibault Rossard and John Gordon Perrin came in as subs in this match.
Asseco Resovia were without Gavin Schmitt, who is recovering from injury, and without Fabian Drzyzga, who stayed in Poland. According to sport.pl, Drzyzga is getting married in a few days, so he got time off from the club.
