This is definitely a historic moment in world volleyball. During the farewell match of Pawel Zagumny in Katowice, Cuban volleyball star Wilfredo Leon changed the team in the 3rd set and put on the jersey of Poland!
The organizers prepared him a white & red jersey with No. 9, which Leon should wear in future, as soon as the FIVB allows him to play for Poland.
Still, Leon did not actually play for Poland this time, as he spent the rest of the match in the subs corner. So, everyone are still waiting for his official debut in the white & red jersey.
