Zagumny
“I spent beautiful 20 years in the national team and I would not trade those years for anything else. I did what I love, I did it with passion for many years and when I look back I see success as well. It was not easy when I started being a part of Polish national team. We lost some important matches, but in the end, everything turned out in the right direction so we won a few medals in the last decade” says legendary setter Pawel Zagumny.
“I want to thank to organizers and the stars that come in Katowice. They are wonderful people who play volleyball with passion. They are now coaches or some of them are still playing but they won a lot of medals. Triple world champions, Olympic champions – they were my idols. As a child, I watched them and learned from them,” adds Zagumny, who will play in AZS Politechnika next season.
