“Of course I am disappointed, because it was great to work with these guys. I wanted to be the head coach of Poland at the next European Championship, however that will not happen. Undoubtedly, the most important thing was to win a medal at the Olympic Games. Even though we had worked hard, we failed to reach the podium. That is sport. And if you do not win then you have to understand that it might be time to change something. Still, I do not regret any of my decisions,” said Antiga for sportowefakty.wp.pl.
When asked if he already has some plans for the future Antiga replied:
“Of course I have a plan. Maybe next month I will announce what will I do next. I live in Warsaw with my family and I feel very well here. When it comes to working in some club, I already have several options…”
