According to Resovia CEO Bartosz Górski, this reaction of the coach, who is the longest-running coach in the Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship at the moment, was premature.
„I will meet with the coach, his staff and players to talk about our situation. We are a team that should be united, not only in wins, but especially when it’s bad. Coach Kowal has the confidence of the Board, which earned by his work and results in recent years. Now his task is to prepare a program to be fully accepted by all the players. I believe that a team with such a potential is able to quickly improve its game and results. Certainly, we are disappointed with our weaker performances and we should apologize to our fans. But, the best apology will be to win in the next games, and the support from the stands will be particularly important to us,” Resovia official stated.
