zaksa vs. Resovia
Clash of title holders and runners-up was the hit of the 15th round and also the final round of the first part of the regular season in PlusLiga. After this win, the mood of Resovia who had a slow period a month ago, will greatly improve before the second part of the competition.
On the other hand, Zaksa once again showed a lot of weaknesses against direct title contenders. Recall that Polish champions lost to Skra Bełchatow earlier, at home court as well. But, despite today’s loss, Ferdinando De Giorgi’s wards kept leadership at the half-season.
Canadian duo Gavin Schmitt – John Gordon Perrin led Resovia with 16 points each while Zaksa’s Belgian Sam Deroo had game-high 22 points.
