"I have never felt as good as now," confirms volleyball player Zbigniew Bartman for Polish website WP Sportowefakty.

I feel very good physically. It makes me very happy. I do not know if this is related to age or to a job change. I realize in one moment that I’m going to be 30-year old player. But, I’ve never felt as good as now,” says Bartman.

He also answered the question about current situation in Istanbul.

I’m not afraid of terroristic attacks. Istanbul, however, has officially 16 million inhabitants and unofficially there are more than 20 million people. The chance of finding yourself at the wrong place and to become the victim of an attack is equal winning the Lotto. And maybe even less, because Lotto game is every day while terrorist attacks are not as frequent as Lotto. There have been some terrible tragedies and that’s why people live in fear,” explains Bartman.

Bartman also took the opportunity to praise young Turkish volleyball talent Adis Lagumdzija.

Adis is a very big talent. He has all the qualities that are required to become an amazing attacker. He is 208cm tall and has 102 kg. He looks like an animal in a good sense. The most important thing is to continue working and collecting experience on the court. I can’t say that he is talent like Ivan Miljkovic, because Ivan is the best attacker of all time, but we can compare him with Tsvetan Sokolov. All depends on him,” says Bartman.
