POL M: Resovia raising from the ashes to down Olsztyn and reclaim spot number 2

In a duel of the two teams battling for playoff spot in the Polish Men’s volleyball Championship PlusLiga, runners-up Resovia Rzeszów defeated AZS Olsztyn in an intense Round 25 match, 3-2 (19-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 15-10).

Olsztyn gave away two sets of advantage against Resovia and made a huge step backwards in attempt to advance to the playoffs, remaining fifth-placed. On the other hand, Resovia firmed at second spot in the rankings.

German opposite Jochen Schöps topped Resovia’s scorers with 20 points while Wojciech Włodarczyk had 21 for Olsztyn.
