Italian expert returned to Polish top division PlusLiga after two years and signed the one-year contract with Olsztyn. Thus, revelations of WorldofVolley on Santilli’s engagement in this club came true.
The 2002 European champion with the Italian Junior Men’s National Team and 2010 Polish Cup silver medalist with Jastrzębski Węgiel arrived to Olsztyn instead of compatriot Andrea Gardini, who moved to Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
“I want to thank the club from Olsztyn for giving me a chance to return to work in Poland. I spent the last two seasons in Australia and it was a really lovely time, but it was away from everything. Now, it’s the time to return to the volleyball and returning to Poland feels like coming home,” Santilli said.
