The team coached by Ferdinando De Giorgi achieved another win over PGE Skra Bełchatów in the playoff finals 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 27-25, 25-18), but since they took first match by a 3-0, they could start to celebrate the title, seventh in club history, already after winning the third set (2-1).
Dawid Konarski and Mateusz Bieniek led Zaksa to win in rematch with 12 points each. Mariusz Wlazły with 16 and Bartosz Kurek with 13 points were the best scorers in Skra.
Zaksa setter, Frenchman Benjamin Toniutti, was awarded MVP of the playoff finals.
