After spending two years with Skra, the middle blocker Mariusz Marcyniak left the Polish PlusLiga giants.

He showed more potential during his first season in Bełchatów team as he got more chances to play under the command of the Spanish coach Miguel Ángel Falasca, while his successor, the Frenchman Philippe Blain, rarely sent him into play.

During these two seasons, Marcyniak won Cup of Poland (2016) and silver (2017) and bronze (2016) medal in the Polish Championship.
