Russia and Canada have opened the 15th "Hubert Wagner" memorial tournament.

Russia

We could say it was a revenge of the Russia on Canada for defeat in the FIVB World League F6 tournament.

The first two sets were the most exciting as the Shlyapnikov’s side managed to win it both sets by two (25-23, 29-27).

In the third set, Canada somehow found enough strength to get back into the game while the fourth set was the last one in this clash.

Recall that Russia are playing without Klikuka, while Gordon Perrin is not with the Canadian team at the moment.
