Chemik vs Palac
Chemik faced the most difficult test in the OrlenLiga this season as KS Pałac Bydgoszcz were close to upset the defending champions in Round 5. They had a 2-1 lead in sets but succumbed to the monster serving display of Chemik (14 aces) and 24 points from Katarzyna Zaroślińska. The Ukrainian international Natalia Misiuna and Ewelina Krzywicka topped Pałac with 16 points each.
There was a glimpse of hope at MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza fans that their favorite team will set off a winning streak after achieving the first win this season, a week ago. But, the 3-0 defeat to BKS Profi Credit Bielsko-Biała tonight, got them back to reality. Katarzyna Konieczna scored 17 points for the winning side. Patrycja Polak made 13 for Dąbrowa Górnicza.
