“We played a great game. Skra is a strong team, but our play was very good. All elements functioned. Thanks to this, we scored points in important situations and that’s why we won by a 3-0. Throughout the game, our focus was at the same high level. We played the point after the point. We didn’t think about the end of the set and that we have to win. We fought for every point. We felt good mentally throughout the match and I think that’s the most important thing,” Matej Paták, the Slovakian outside hitter from Aluron Virtu, stated after the match against Skra.
“I’m happy that we won against such a strong team and valuable players. However, there are still minor shortcomings. We can play even better and show our fans a really good volleyball,” Taichiro Koga, the Japanese libero from Aluron Virtu added.
“I think we played the weakest game this season because of the mistakes we made. We must learn a great lesson from this. We need to analyze this game calmly. Now there are big emotions, each of us is definitely disappointed with this result, but also with our play and this is the best commentary on the game,” Skra opposite Mariusz Wlazły stated.
