Disrespect or unintentional mistake? Jarosz didn’t shake hands with De Giorgi at the end of the match (VIDEO)

One of the good things in volleyball is a mandatory handshake of the rivals at the end of the match, which includes shaking hands with rival’s coaches as well. But...

 

At the end of the Polish men’s volleyball championship Plus Liga 2017/2018 encounter between Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and Jastrzębski Węgiel, one of the players, Resovia opposite Jakub Jarosz, did not shake hands with rival’s coach, Ferdinando De Giorgi from  Jastrzębski.

Some media in Poland speculate it was due to the fact De Giorgi crossed Jarosz from the preliminary list of Poland national team for the 2017 FIVB World League, while he served as the head coach. The second scenario could be that Jarosz simply did not see De Giorgi at the end of the line while shaking hands with Jastrzębski players. Nevertheless, De Giorgi’s face when Jarosz skipped him in shaking hands showed he was surprised by it…
