PGE Skra Bełchatów returned to the second place in the Polish men’s volleyball championship Plus Liga 2017/2018 standings.

PGE Skra Bełchatów prevailed against ninth-placed Cerrad Czarni Radom (10-12; 30 points) only after tie-break, partially 25-23, 18-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-12, and returned to the second place in the standings (17-5; 49 points), taking advantage of yesterday’s defeat of ONICO Warszawa.

Skra coach Roberto Piazza launched an 18-year-old setter Wiktor Nowak to the lineup instead of Marcin Janusz, who played as the starting setter since Grzegorz Łomacz got injured.

The Iranian Milad Ebadipour topped Skra with 19 points (4 kill blocks), while Mariusz Wlazły served 5 aces. Wojciech Żaliński topped Czarni with 26 points (3 kill blocks). The Ukrainian Dmytro Teryomenko made 4 kill blocks.
