Russia National Team, one of major favorites for winning the 2019 CEV European Men’s Volleyball (September 12-29), will play Pool C (Ljubljana), facing one of the co-hosts Slovenia, Turkey, Finland, North Macedonia and Belarus.
Tuomas Sammelvuo has chosen which 14 players to take to the 2019 EuroVolley and, compared to the roster that competed in the FIVB International Olympic Qualifier a month ago, in which “Zbornaya” earned a promotion to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, two players are missing: an outside hitter Fedor Voronkov and libero Roman Martyniuk. They were replaced with Anton Karpukhov and Evgeniy Andreev.
