Placì, who’s currently at the helm of Russia’s Fakel, has been discharged from the hospital after nearly a month. A 64-year-old Italian expert had a coronavirus against which he battled in the Novy Urengoy hospital for exactly 26 days. The Superliga club published that Placì was released home on New Year’s Eve.

The assistant coach Roman Yakovlev was in charge of the Fakel’s play in the absence of Placì. During that time, they won five out of seven matches.
