The Russian women’s club champions Dinamo-Ak Bars beat Proton in three sets in their first match in 2021.

In Round 18 of the 2020/21 Russian Women’s Superliga Parimatch regular season, leaders Dinamo Kazan swept Proton: 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-17). It was the first match for the titleholders after a forced rest of more than a month given their rivals were unable to play due to coronavirus.

Arina Fedorovtseva led Dinamo to the 10th successive win in the competition with 13 points.

Enisey (Mariya Frolova 21 points, 85 % reception /20 digs; 60 % excellent/; Anastasiya Samoylenko 6 blocks) ended their own losing streak of seven games by beating Zarechie-Odintsovo in four sets. However, the Krasnoyarsk side remained last placed with 3-14 (12 points).
