After returning empty-handed from the last tournament of the pool stage of the CEV Champions League in Germany, Lokomotiv continued their winning streak in the 2020/21 Russian Men’s Superliga Parimatch regular season that now consists of 4 games.
At the closing of Round 22, the reigning champions – currently 6th-placed – beat Gazprom-Yugra by a 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-20) and kept the chances, even though slim, of grabbing the vice leader’s position in the charts (the last one that guarantees a direct progression to the playoffs) in the next few rounds. Serbian Dražen Luburić scored the most points for ‘Loko’ today (21 points).
