Kuzbass
In a delayed match of the 9th round of the 2020/21 Russian Men’s Superliga Parimatch regular season, Kuzbass beat Enisey by a 3-1 (25-14, 22-25, 25-12, 27-25) and went directly to the Final six to which the top 2 sides in the charts are entitled.
Led by Italian Ivan Zaytsev (19 points), the Kemerovo side squeezed Zenit-Kazan out of the 2nd place in the standings, meaning they joined regular-season winners Dinamo Moscow, who directly advanced to the final tournament, too. Due to such developments, Zenit-Kazan will have to make their way to the Final Six via playoffs.
