At the closing of the Final Six of the 2020/21 Russian Men’s Superliga Parimatch, the regular-season winners Dinamo Moscow came back from 0-2 to 3-2 against Fakel in Pool A and secured no.1 in the pool for the semifinals. At the same time, the team from the country’s capital prevented rivals from advancing there. To reach the semifinals, Fakel had to win by a 3-0 or 3-1 and that with a substantial point difference. Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov was Dinamo’s most productive player with 28 points. Ilya Vlasov made 4 blocks.
The Moscow side will play against no.2 from Pool A, which are the reigning champions Lokomotiv, in the semis. The Novosibirsk club lost against Kuzbass today by a 3-1 in a duel of the two teams that already secured promotion to the top 4.
