For the 3rd time in a row, Cucine Lube Civitanova and Sir Safety Conad Perugia will play for the Scudetto.
The reigning champions and 2nd-seed reached the playoff finals of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca thanks to the victory in semifinal Game 4 over no.3 Itas Trentino: 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-23). Thus, Lube turned around the series from 0-1 to 3-1 and will play for the championship title for the 4th season in a row.
Cuban Robertlandy Simón was Lube’s most prominent figure tonight with 17 points, including 5 blocks. The playoff finals set off on April 14.
