Alan, the MVP of the last FIVB World Cup, which he won with the Brazil National team, will play for the 4th-placed side in the Russian Championship, Kuzbass, next season.
During his career, the 27-year-old opposite hitter (a backup to Wallace Souza in ‘Seleção’), has defended the colors of only clubs in his home country, concluded with Sada Cruzeiro in 2020/21 season. Alan is a 2-time winner of the Brazilian Championship and Brazilian Cup each, and a 3-time winner of the Brazilian Super Cup. He also won the FIVB Club World Championship once.
Apart from the 2019 FIVB World Cup, Alan was involved in 2 more gold medals of Brazil Men – in the Pan American Cup and South American Championship. He was named MVP in both.
