The defending champion of Russia, Dinamo Moscow, and the Bulgarian star Sokolov agreed to continue cooperation.

The 32-year-old player spent the last 2 seasons at the club from the country’s capital, in which, together with the team, he won the title of the Russian champion twice, and also won the Russian Cup, the Russian Super Cup, and the CEV Cup. In both seasons, Sokolov became the top scorer of the ’blue and white’ (last season he was Superliga’s 4th-best scorer with 492 points). In addition, the famous Bulgarian player was recognized as the MVP in the Superliga (2020/21) and the Best Opposite Spiker of the Final Six (2021/22).
