Round 6 of the 2022-23 PARI Superliga for women (PARI Суперлига Женщины) featured the famous ’Derby of Dinamos’. Dinamo Moscow defeated Dinamo Ak-Bars (Dinamo Kazan) with a score of 3-1 (21-25, 25-16, 25-18, 26-24) at home. Thus, the side from the Russian capital collected six victories in six matches and climbed to first place in the standings of the competition. Lokomotiv’s victory over Proton yesterday helped too, given that the latter club was the only one aside from Dinamo Moscow with a perfect record after five rounds.

Dinamo vs Dinamo was a replay of the last Superliga’s bronze medal duel, in which the Muscovites prevailed as well. Actually, counting today’s triumph, Dinamo Moscow are on a six-game run over their namesakes. Today, both teams finally had their offseason’s foreign reinforcements at their disposal (Brazilian Natália Pereira /Dinamo M./ and Dominican Gaila González /Dinamo K./). Exactly González stood out the most on the losing side with 15 points. Nataliya Goncharova highlighted Dinamo Moscow with 27 points. Ekaterina Enina made 4 blocks.
