The Russian team has celebrated after four sets and the best scorer of the match was Ekatarina Gamova with 24 points.
Dinamo Kazan coach Rishat Gilyazutdinov:
“It was a hard game for us in the very beginning, as you saw in the first set. We didn’t know our opponent, as we had no information about them for our preparation. However, we found a way back into our game and could play better. We are now already qualified for the semi-finals, but we want to look where we can still improve.”
Hisamitsu Springs coach Kumi Nakada:
“I can’t explain why we had these problems after our win in the important set. We tried to find other ways to avoid their blocking game, as we prepared it in our trainings. This worked really well in the first set. I have to say that I am disappointed, as we wanted more in these two games. Nevertheless, it was an important experience for the whole team.”
