
Lokomotiv Kaliningrad has made it to the Russian Women’s Volleyball Super League final after a dominant 3-0 win over Leningradka in the deciding fifth match of their semifinal series. The set scores were 25:18, 25:22, 25:17, as Lokomotiv sealed their spot with a clean sweep.
In a tense series, Lokomotiv bounced back after a tough start. Ebrar Karakurt was unstoppable in the final match, leading the team with 21 points.
Their opponents in the final will be Dynamo-Ak Bars Kazan, who had an easier time in their semifinal, defeating Zarechie Odintsovo 3-0. The best-of-five final series will kick off on April 8 in Kazan, with the possibility of a deciding match on April 19.
