The third and decisive match, played in St. Petersburg, ended in a 3:1 victory for the home team (25:27, 25:22, 25:18, 25:22).
The entire series was fiercely contested, with each game pushing both teams to their limits. However, Zenit St. Petersburg showed resilience and consistency, ultimately sweeping the series and booking their spot in the championship round.
The final promises an exciting showdown between Zenit Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg — a derby that will determine the 2024/2025 SuperLiga champion. The series will be played in a best-of-five format, with the first two matches taking place in Kazan on April 17 and 19, third game on April 23. If necessary, the fourth and fifth matches will be held on April 25 and 29 respectively.
