Maxim Zhigalov gave a statement for Russian “Soviet Sport” in which he admitted that he deserved a suspension from the Russian Volleyball Federation.

“I discussed the subject with the people from the Federation and we understood each other. It is entirely my fault. I made a wrong decision and this will be a lesson to me. I will continue with training and hopefully everything will be fine” said Zhigalov.
